WEEKLY TIMETABLE
Here is a general guide to what goes on at our Resource Centre each week.
We use our Resource Centre as a base, but prefer to get our Service Users out and about as much as possible. Each Service User goes out into the community at least once every day, whether it be the morning, afternoon or for the whole day. Service Users can take part in lots of different activities during the week, they each have a time table which is made to suit their needs and preferences. Please find a time table of all the activities that go on through out the week.
Please note: Some activities may have changed or are not going ahead due to Covid.
This is our board which is in our Main Room. Every time there is a new member of staff or new Service User we make them a magnetic picture for the board. Karen then sets up the board each morning, with Service Users and Staff who are in that day, along with the activities going ahead each day. We believe this is beneficial as it is a visual aid for the Service Users.
Service Users will either have a 1:1 or be a 'Resource' Service User, meaning they don't have a 1:1 but are part of a group instead. 1:1's and Resource Service Users do still go out for the day together.
MONDAY

*A group of our Service Users go down to our
allotment at Dane Valley, usually for the whole day
*A group stay in at the Resource Centre for an Arts and Crafts session
*Woodwork session
*Exercise Group in the exercise room at the Resource Centre
*A group goes swimming at Ramsgate Leisure Centre, then stays there for lunch

*Sports hall at Ramsgate Leisure Centre in one of the sports courts, the Service Users are supported to warm up and play games such as basketball, and cricket
*A group go Bowling at Bugsy’s in Cliftonville (Not in school holidays)
*Allotment group
THURSDAY

*A group goes cycling with Wheel Potential at Toddlers Cove, Canterbury
*A group goes out for the day on a CBA (community based activity)
*Music session at the Resource Centre
*A group walks up to the Hornby Cafe which is just up the road from the Resource Centre

*A Shopping Group for food for tea-time club

WEDNESDAY

*A group of our Service Users go down to our
allotment at Dane Valley, usually for the whole day
*CBA- (Community Based Activity) Some of our Service Users usually go out for the day either in a group or with another Service User and their 1:1
*Individual Box Work: Our service users have boxes, with their names on that contain things that they like or things they like doing,
e.g books, Arts and Crafts materials, bubbles etc
*Sensory Play/Art

*Pub Lunch (usually split into two groups)

We have yearly passes to Wingham Wildlife Park, Wildwood and Howletts. We like to rotate this, so all service users have an opportunity to take part in all activities.
FRIDAY
AM
*Bowling group at Bugsy’s in Cliftonville. (Not during school holidays)
*A group goes to Herons swimming pool in Herne Bay, they then usually go some where afterwards for lunch, meaning they are out for most of the day. (Not during school holidays)

*Relaxation session at Resource Centre, Service Users can have a foot-spa and listen to relaxing music. Service users can have their feet creamed and massaged if they wish; some Service Users choose to have their nails painted.
*Disco on first Friday of every month 6.00pm-8.00pm.
SATURDAY
AM
Saturday Club 10:30am-1:00pm, at Saturday Club there is usually a main activity, such as cooking, art, exercise, games but other activities are provided for those that don't want to take part in the main activity.
PM
Some Service Users are supported on a 1:1 basis to access the community. We usually take them for lunch, to fayres, open days etc when they are on or for a walk or a trip to the park.
